Scope

This policy applies to Synkompass.com, the corporate website for Synkompass Media LLC. GetEnergyRebates.com, CalculateEnergySavings.com, and JouleCompass.com are separate product experiences and may publish their own privacy notices. Shared ownership does not mean that product accounts, submitted utility information, or user activity are automatically shared across those sites.

Information we collect

When you submit an inquiry, we collect the inquiry type, your name, work email address, organization if provided, and the message you choose to send. Please do not submit credentials, payment information, personal utility data, confidential information, or information you are not authorized to share.

Our hosting and security providers may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser or device information, request details, and timestamps. Synkompass.com does not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site analytics.

How we use information

We use inquiry information to route and respond to your message, evaluate a potential advertising, data/API, partnership, or corporate opportunity, keep appropriate business records, protect the site, and meet legal obligations. Inquiry information is not presented as a data product and is not used for cross-product tracking.

Who may process information

Information may be processed by service providers that support website hosting, security, and email delivery, and by people working on behalf of Synkompass who need it to handle the inquiry. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, or complete a business transaction involving Synkompass, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including business, legal, security, and dispute-resolution needs. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

You may choose not to submit the form and contact us by email instead. You may also ask about, correct, or request deletion of inquiry information by emailing info@synkompass.com. We will evaluate requests under applicable law and may need to verify your identity or retain certain records where required.

Children and external sites

This corporate site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. Links to portfolio products and other external sites are governed by the notices and practices published on those sites.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site, our practices, or applicable requirements change. The updated date above shows when this version was last revised.
